Where it all began
My love of fashion and beauty began when I met Gianni Versace in 1982.
I arrived in Italy with fifty dollars, a few amateur pictures, and a big dream of becoming a model. I had heard the name Versace, but didn’t really know who he was. He hired me for my first modeling job and my photo ended up on the cover of the Women’s Wear Daily Magazine. From there, I modeled for Armani, Gucci, Fendi and many other designers and for hundreds of advertising campaigns, TV commercials and runway shows.
I moved back to the United States to raise my daughter, and started a painting business. After my daughter left for college, I decided to model again at the age of 52. It is amazing how much work their is for the “mature” model and I will be posting my photos and commercials on this website.
I also love thrift shopping. Nothing like a treasure hunt to find the perfect outfit at a great price.
